Privacy Policy
Effective date: 21 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nazar Games (“Nazar Games”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit nazargames.com (the “Site”) or play our games and use our related services (together with the Site, the “Services”).
Please read it together with our Terms of Service. If you live in Türkiye, our Privacy Notice under Law No. 6698 also applies.
1. Who we are
Nazar Games is a mobile game studio based in Istanbul, Türkiye. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other applicable privacy laws. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hi@nazargames.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to personal data we process through the Services and when you contact us. It does not cover websites, apps or services run by other companies, such as app stores, platform providers or advertising partners, even when you reach them through our Services. Those companies have their own privacy policies.
3. Data we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Contact details and messages: your name, email address and anything you write when you email us or ask for support.
- Support details: your player ID, device model and a description of the issue, if you include them.
- Feedback: answers you give in surveys or feedback forms.
- Job applications: your CV and any details you choose to send if you apply for a role by email.
3.2 Information collected automatically on the Site
If you allow analytics cookies, we collect information such as your IP address (shortened where possible), browser and device type, operating system, language, approximate location derived from your IP address (no more precise than city level), the pages you visit, the page that referred you, how you interact with the Site (for example, clicks on the eye on our home page), and the date and time of your visit. See section 5.
3.3 Information collected automatically in our games
- Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, app version, and identifiers the operating system assigns to the app (such as Apple’s identifier for vendors or Google’s app set ID).
- Advertising identifiers: Apple’s IDFA (only if you allow tracking on iOS) and Google’s advertising ID, which you can reset or delete at any time.
- Network information: IP address and the country or region derived from it.
- Gameplay data: progress, levels, scores, session length, settings and in-game actions.
- Purchase records: which items you bought, the price, currency and the store’s transaction ID. We never receive your full card or bank details.
- Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data.
3.4 Information from other companies
- App stores (Apple App Store, Google Play): confirmation of purchases and refunds.
- Platform sign-in (such as Game Center or Google Play Games), if you choose to use it: your platform player ID and display name.
- Attribution and advertising partners: which ad campaign led to your install, and information about the ads you see and interact with in our games.
We don’t intend to collect sensitive categories of personal data, such as information about health, religion or biometrics. Please don’t send us this kind of information.
4. How we use your data and why

| Improve our games and Site | Analytics, game balancing, fixing bugs and crashes, testing new features | Legitimate interest; your consent where the law requires it, for example for analytics cookies on the Site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)) |

We may also create aggregated or de-identified data that no longer identifies you, and use it for any lawful purpose.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary: we store your cookie choice in your browser so we don’t ask again. This is always on.
- Analytics: Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, helps us understand how visitors use the Site. These cookies stay off until you select “Allow analytics”.
We use Google Consent Mode. If you decline, Google Analytics doesn’t set or read cookies on your device. Google’s tags may still send limited signals without cookies, such as the fact that a page was loaded, which we only look at in aggregate.
You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser. The Site’s fonts are hosted on our own servers, so loading them doesn’t send your data to anyone else.
In our games, software development kits (SDKs) from analytics, attribution and advertising partners work in a similar way. You can control them through your device settings:
- iPhone and iPad: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, then turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track” or switch it off for our game.
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID (on some devices: Settings → Google → All services → Ads).
6. Advertising
Some of our games may be free to play and supported by ads. The ad networks and mediation partners we work with may collect device identifiers, IP address and information about the ads you view and tap, so they can deliver ads, limit how often you see the same one, prevent ad fraud and measure performance. Where the law requires it, they show personalised ads only after you agree, and you can withdraw that consent in the game’s settings (where available) or through your device settings described above.
When our games launch, we’ll list the analytics, attribution and advertising partners they use on this page.
7. Who we share data with
We don’t sell your personal data for money. We share it only as described here:
- Service providers that help us run the Services, such as website hosting (Vercel), analytics (Google), email, cloud storage and customer support tools. They may only use the data to provide their services to us.
- Platform providers (Apple and Google), to deliver our games, process purchases and handle refunds.
- Advertising and measurement partners, as described in section 6.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, under confidentiality.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our players, our company or others.
- A future owner of our business: if Nazar Games is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that deal. The new owner will be bound by this policy or will tell you about any changes.
If a game has social features such as leaderboards, other players may see your player name, avatar and scores.
8. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside Türkiye, the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, including in the United States. When we transfer personal data across borders, we use the safeguards the law requires: under the KVKK, one of the conditions in Article 9, such as standard contracts notified to the Personal Data Protection Authority; under the GDPR, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK addendum where relevant) or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified.
9. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy:
- Emails and support requests: for as long as needed to resolve your request, plus a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up.
- Game data: while you play, and until you ask us to delete it or your game data has been inactive for a long time, after which we delete or anonymise it.
- Website analytics: according to the retention setting in Google Analytics, after which it’s deleted automatically.
- Purchase and financial records: for as long as Turkish tax and commercial laws require.
- Job applications: for as long as needed to evaluate your application, unless you agree to us keeping it for future roles.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and working with providers that take security seriously. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal data, we’ll notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to direct marketing at any time;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before;
- opt out of targeted advertising, or of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal data as some U.S. state laws define those terms;
- complain to a data protection authority: in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK); in the EEA or UK, the authority where you live or work.
If you live in Türkiye, you have the rights listed in Article 11 of the KVKK. See our Privacy Notice.
To make a request, email hi@nazargames.com with the subject “Privacy request”. If it’s about a game, include your player ID (usually in the game’s settings). We’ll reply within 30 days, or sooner if the law requires, and we may ask for information to confirm your identity first. Requests are free unless the law allows a fee for unusually costly requests.
12. Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, or under the age of digital consent in their country (up to 16 in some EEA countries), without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us at hi@nazargames.com and we’ll delete it.
13. Links and third-party services
The Services may link to or work with services run by others, such as app stores and platform sign-in. We aren’t responsible for how they handle your data, so please read their privacy policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our Services or the law change. We’ll post the new version here and update the effective date. If the changes are significant, we’ll let you know clearly, for example with a notice on the Site or in our games, before they take effect.
15. Contact
